QStore IMS was created out of direct operational need — a Q-store management system designed by people who understood the real workflow, not one adapted from generic inventory software.
Our story
Australian Army Cadet units operate Q-stores that manage significant inventories of uniforms, equipment, and supplies — often with volunteer staff rotating in and out every few years. The tools available were either generic spreadsheets, expensive enterprise systems, or nothing at all.
QStore IMS V2 was built to solve this problem — a purpose-built, offline-capable application that understands AB189 forms, cadet ranks, parade days, and the specific workflows a Q-store officer deals with every week.
V3 extended the platform with advanced request workflows, audit logging, role-based access, and a voluntary accounting module — making the transition from a spreadsheet to a proper operational system achievable for any unit without specialist IT support.
ITEMORA now brings this software to market under a commercial licensing model — ensuring ongoing development, support, and evolution of the platform for the organisations that rely on it.
