Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally in your browser on the device running the app using IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to a server unless you enable optional cloud sync with Microsoft OneDrive.

Does the app work offline?

Yes — QStore IMS is fully offline-capable. No internet connection is required for day-to-day operations. Cloud sync is optional and configured separately.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Clearing browser data (cache, cookies, storage) will erase your QStore IMS data on that device. Export a backup after every parade night and store it off-device.

Can I run the app on multiple devices?

Yes. Each device maintains its own local copy. Use the cloud sync feature or manual backup and restore to keep devices in sync.

A user forgot their PIN — what do I do?

The OC (Commanding Officer) must reset the PIN via Users → Reset PIN. Users cannot reset their own PINs. The new PIN is shown once and given to the user verbally.

How do I transfer data to a new device?

Export a backup from Settings → Data backup & restore on the old device, then import it on the new device using the same option.

What browsers are supported?

Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Safari — any modern desktop or tablet browser. A mobile card layout is available for phones.

Is the IMS + Accounting Edition a separate app?

It comes as a ZIP package with two HTML files — qstore.html (IMS) and accounting.html (Accounting). Both must be kept in the same folder and share one database.
